If you are interested in printing this yourself, the insert can be purchased here:
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/shadows-over-camelot-merlin-s-company-insert

This is designed by us!
This insert doesnt require the expansion, but has space for the expansions components if you have it.

Insert only, this does not include any board game components.

Features:

1: No lid lift when assembled
2: Holds all cards in premium sleeves.
3: Holds all Knight cards when sleeved (or in my case laminated)
4: Secures all boards
5: Insert works vertical or horizontal
6: Removable trays for easier game setup
7: Insert design is also laid out to setup the game as you unpack the game, including rules at the top, followed by each board you need to place out.

Notes

1: Insert works with all sleeve types, even the slightly oversized Dragon Shield American Standard Medium fit (which is what I'm using in the images for all white/black cards)

However depending on your sleeves may impact how the cards are stored.

A: No Sleeves or Penny Sleeves - 1 tray is required for black/white cards, 1 middle tray is for travel/loyalty/merlin card
The extra trays will act as spacers to keep the insert in place.

B: Premium Sleeves - if you dont have the Merin expansion, I expect it to fit the same way as option A (or if you've separated your Merlin cards from the main deck, use the second middle card tray to store the extra white/black cards)

Combining all cards with premium sleeves will require two trays for white/black cards each.

Card trays can be used on the table to hold the decks in place while playing, with a cut out on top for easy access to draw from the top, an empty tray can also be used to hold discards

2: Siege engines must be inserted as shown, if inserted the other way around the board on top will not sit flat.

3: Knights have a letter to indicate the colour of knight to go in that slot, some can be mixed, but ones like the green knight require its top slot to fit properly.
L = Lancelots Armor
HG = Holy Grail
E = Excalibur

4: The Grail board must be inserted with the connecting notches lying over the Picts/Saxons to fit correctly, the flat part of those boards should be covering Merlin/D8 at the bottom - (the box was flipped between the grail image and(the base layer image as I didnt realise I had it upside down for the first pics!)

5: As I dont have any non-laminated cards, its possible things may move out of place if shaken while sitting vertically, if there are any issues with this, send me a message and I'm sure I will be able to update/fix (same with any other reported issues, it all fits very well for my set, but its entirely possible different print runs had minor changes in dimensions for some components.
